BajauIndonesia.com – Masyarakat nelayan di Pulau Pagerungan Kecil, Kecamatan Sapeken, Sumenep, Madura, Jawa Timur, mulai dibuat tidak nyaman dengan kehadiran sejumlah kapal porsen dari luar daerah.
Kapal-kapal porsen dari luar itu sejak beberapa waktu lalu berdatangan ke wilayah Pagerungan Kecil diduga untuk menangkap ikan, hal tersebut membuat para nelayan setempat merasa terusik dan keberatan.
Kami komunitas nelayan tradisional dan porsen Lokal di Pagerungan Kecil keberatan karena lagi-lagi diserang oleh porsen dari luar, ujar salah seorang nelayan di Pagerungan Kecil, abdul Rahim, Senin, 14 September 2020.
Dia menuturkan, porsen-porsen dari luar daerah itu beroperasi di wilayah perairan selatan dan utara Pagerungan Kecil. Selama ini wilayah tersebut merupakan lahan masyarakat nelayan lokal menangkap ikan.
Mereka datang sudah sejak sekitar 10 hari lalu, dan sudah sekitar satu minggu mereka bekerja. Sebetulnya sudah ada peringatan, namun tak diindahkan. Bahkan sampai tadi malam masih beroperasi, tuturnya.
Abdul Rahim menjelaskan, ada beberapa alasan pihaknya merasa keberatan terhadap kedatangan porsen-porsen itu. Pertama karena wilayah yang didatangi terbilang sempit. Sehingga dengan kedatangan mereka, nelayan lokal menjadi terpinggirkan.
Kedua alat tangkap yang kami gunakan jauh dari milik mereka yang sudah modern. Makanya kami sangat keberatan. Harapan kami kepada pihak berwenang agar porsen-posen itu dipulangkan ke wilayahnya,” tambah dia.
Kapal berukuran besar tersebut Sandar di Pulau sadulang besar dan Berlabuh dimuara pagerungan kecil, Ketika porsen yang diduga berasal dari kalimantan itu datang, maka kami tidak ada tempat untuk melaut karena posisioning willayah kerja yang sempit, terangnya.
Sementara itu Kepala desa Pagerungan kecil Halilurrahman saat dikonfirmasi melalui sambungan whatsapp belum bisa memberikan keterangan karena sedang mengikuti rapat koordinasi penyambutan kunker Bupati Sumenep, KH. A. Busro Karim.
